During the years of spreading fear in Asia during World War 2, Japanese fascists carried out reveal a secret plan called “Golden Lily”. the plan was directly commanded by Prince Yasuhito, the younger brother of the Japanese Emperor.

the purpose of the plan was to scoop up all the wealth in Asian countries and transport it to Japan to develop the economy and industry for the war. Historians estimate that the amount of gold looted by the Japanese could reach 100,000 to 300,000 tons.

the plan is implemented comprehensively in all areas. Intelligence and reconnaissance forces were sent to various places to investigate the situation, specific locations, and places with a lot of wealth. the Emperor also dispatched a large number of experts to assess gold, silver, and antiques to classify wealth.

It is estimated that in just a few years, the Japanese fascists are said to have scooped up countless wealth, from thousands of tons of gold in China, rare ancient Buddha statues in Myanmar to gems in Indonesia and ceramics in North Korea. .

According to statistics, the Japanese army confiscated 6,000 tons of gold in Nanjing city (China) alone, not to mention other treasures. this gold is melted down and molded into gold bars and transported to Japan.

After the Battle of Midway in 1942 with a decisive victory for the Allies, Japan’s power at sea decreased significantly. As a result, Allied submarines easily disrupted the sea routes transporting Japanese wealth. the Japanese fascists switched to burying treasure in Asian countries and planned to find a way to transport it to the “home country” later.

Under the supervision of royal members, General Yamashita tomoyuki, the Japanese fascist commander in the Philippines, was tasked with building underground bunkers to store secret wealth underground.

When the American army tightened the siege in the Philippines in June 1945, just a few dozen kilometers from the Japanese camp, the work of burying the gold treasure on the outskirts of Bambang city was completed.

the Japanese held a lavish party around piled-up gold pillars. At midnight, General Yamashita and members of the Japanese royal family secretly left the bunker and detonated mines placed at the entrance. All the engineers and workers who worked for months were buried alive. Similar destruction plans occurred at all other burial sites.

Ben Valmores, a servant of Prince takeda tsuneyoshi, was the only one lucky enough to escape death thanks to his master letting him escape before the mines exploded. “Prince takeda tsuneyoshi saved me and got me out of tunnel No. 8 before the mines exploded,” Mr. Ben said.

the Japanese prince was then secretly picked up by a submarine and taken back to the country. the end of the war was also the time when General Yamashita surrendered to the Allies. He was executed by an American military court for committing war crimes on February 23, 1946. During the time of his arrest, Yamashita did not reveal a word about the treasure he had buried with his own hands.
