Donna Kelce shared a heartwarming insight into her relationship with Taylor Swift’s family, reflecting on how their connection has grown as her son, Travis Kelce, dates the pop superstar. At the premiere of the horror series *Grotesquerie*, in which Travis stars, Donna spoke with Entertainment Tonight about getting to know Swift’s family.
“It’s still really, really new, and I really appreciate it,” Donna said. “Wonderful people, very down to Earth, very Midwestern. Ohio and Pennsylvania are right next to each other, so we kind of understand each other, so it’s really kind of nice. It feels like home.”
Donna also praised Taylor for supporting Travis by visiting him on set. “I just think it’s important to support the people you really care about. I think that was very, very helpful,” she added.
The couple has been dating for over a year, with both Travis and Taylor frequently showing up for each other’s events. Travis attended multiple dates of Taylor’s *The Eras Tour* across Europe, making a surprise appearance on stage during one concert. Conversely, Taylor has been a regular presence at Kansas City Chiefs games, often accompanied by her family, and has spent quality time with Donna.
During the season opener against the Baltimore Ravens, Donna was seen sporting a Chiefs cap that featured Travis’s number and a subtle reference to Taylor, with custom embroidery of holly and a white cosmos, symbolizing their birth months.
Travis’s new role in *Grotesquerie* led to playful banter with his brother Jason, who humorously expressed concern over the plot’s dark themes. Jason jokingly warned that if Travis were unmasked as the serial killer in the show, he would be very upset. Travis quickly clarified that the series isn’t suitable for his young nieces, emphasizing the show’s advanced themes for toddlers.
