Reality TV star Lauryn Goodman has seemingly pleaded with Kyle Walker‘s parents to maintain their bond with her and the footballer’s children.
The mum-of-two, who shares two children with the England footballer, also hit out at claims she should stop complaining about Kyle’s lack of involvement in their offspring’s lives as he contributes financially. Kyle, who also has four sons with on-off wife Annie Kilner, has previously confirmed he has no relationship with Lauryn’s kids, Kairo and Kinara Walker.
Speaking on the Yours Sincerely podcast alongside Lisa Andrews, Lauryn also slammed claims she forces her son Kairo to discuss his famous father in social media videos and revealed when Kyle’s parents cut contact with their grandchildren despite previously having a relationship with them.
At one point during the podcast, after discussing trolling with Helen Flanagan, Lauryn read out a message from a fan thanking her for publicly sharing her custody battles. “I’m hoping tomorrow will be the beginning of a new chapter and a happier life I can’t wait to feel free again,” the message from the fan reads. “I just hope I can find the strength to stay away for for good this this time not just for me but for my little girl too. Thank you for sharing your journey with us fans and for giving me the strength to take this big step once and for all now.”
Reacting to the emotional message, Lauryn told her co-host Lisa Andrews: “So sad but if this message doesn’t like make me want to continue my journey in public I don’t know what would because for me… I mean even just saying ‘your strength has kept me going these last few months’ – she’s a mum! My heart goes out to her.”
Lauryn then went on to read out a direct message from an Instagram user telling her “you get money, you should be fine. Stop complaining, your kids get a good life”. In response to the claim, Lauryn quipped “why are you talking about money? I’m into sentimental things,” with her co-host Lisa adding: “Money isn’t love!”

The Celebs Go Dating star then hit back at claims she forces her eldest child, son Kairo, to chat about his dad Kyle on her social media videos. “I mean, do people think that I sit there going ‘rehearse this line?'” Lauryn mused. “Why would I want my child to talk about it. Sometimes it’s so ridiculous… do I even need to [justify it].”
She then immediately moved on to a question from a fan asking if Kyle’s family are involved in Kairo and Kinara’s lives. “Obviously [what] I think people don’t realize is they did have a relationship with his side of the family, the grandparents. They had really nice family days out etc, but obviously that stopped in December.”
Lauryn then expressed dismay about the fact she doesn’t have long to repair Kyle’s parents’ relationship with the two children they share.
Earlier in the episode, Lauryn’s co-host revealed her son has no relationship with his paternal grandparents or his father. “I’m sitting here and it’s too late,” Lisa admitted. Mishearing her co-host, Lauryn told Lisa: “My heart just went – I thought you meant my situation.” Lisa consoled Lauryn, telling her “you’ve got years [to mend the kids’ relationship with their grandparents]” to which Lauryn confessed: “I haven’t got years!”
Lauryn recently hit back at her baby daddy’s wife as it emerged Kyle’s on-off wife had wished Lauryn dead in a text exchange with fellow WAG Rebekah Vardy. The Manchester City captain is currently on a bid to win back the trust of estranged wife Annie Kilner, who announced their separation in January. Annie is mother to four of Kyle’s six young children, with her youngest son born just before England’s Euro 2024 campaign kicked off over the summer.
