She has been basking in the sunshine as she celebrates sister Kim Kardashian’s 40th birthday on an exotic holiday.
And Khloe Kardashian displayed her enviable physique on Wednesday in a slinky Chanel two-piece as she took a dip in the turquoise waters at Marlon Brando’s The Brando Resort in Tahiti.
The reality star, 36, declared the getaway with Kim, Kourtney, 41, and a whole host of friends and famiy as the ‘BEST TRIP EVER’, despite receiving online criticism for travelling amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Khloe displayed her taut midriff in a fuchsia bandana print bikini which was embossed with the iconic double C Chanel logo and came complete with black straps.
She let her brunette tresses tumble down in a straight hairstyle, and rocked a flawless make-up look that highlighted her bronzed complexion.
Shortly after posting the images, Khloe turned off the comment section- most likely due to the backlash she received for flaunting their luxurious vacation amid global lockdown restrictions.
Followers took to social media to brand their recent trip- reportedly worth $1million- as ‘tone deaf and insensitive’, while the likes of Colin Hanks and Ronan Farrow mocked Kim for captioning her holiday snap as, ‘girls just wanna have sun’.
Meanwhile British rocker Peter Frampton advised her that sharing the images was ill-timed: ‘Are you that insensitive you don’t realize this is not what the majority of people during the worst covid spike yet want to hear? People are going to food banks not private islands.
Their getaway even became a trending topic on social media as Kim’s closest family and friends were flown out to the $20,000 a night island extravaganza.
Despite the fear of contagion, a source from Page Six confirmed that all guests on the trip were ‘repeatedly tested for COVID.’
Her holiday snaps happened to be posted on the same day a new preview for their show Keeping Up With The Kardashians was released – where Khloe revealed she tested positive for coronavirus.
The episode was filmed months ago, with the star saying her symptoms included vomiting and headaches.
She said: ‘I just found out that I do have corona, I have been in my room … it was really bad for a couple of days, vomiting and shaking and hot and cold.
‘I suffer from migraines but this was the craziest headache, I wouldn’t say it was a migraine.
‘The coughing – my chest would burn when I coughed. My throat is still not fully recovered clearly, let me tell you that sh** is real but we are all going to get through this.
‘I pray if we follow orders and listen we’re all going to be OK.’
