Rihanna Shares Candid Delivery Room Photos of Her Two Sons to Celebrate International Women’s Day: ‘My Little Miracles’
Rihanna marked International Women’s Day with a heartfelt tribute to motherhood, sharing never-before-seen delivery room photos of the moments she welcomed her two sons, RZA, 2, and Riot Rose, 19 months, with partner A$AP Rocky.
On Saturday, March 8, the Fenty Beauty mogul, 37, posted the emotional snapshots on Instagram, reflecting on the transformative power of becoming a mother.
“By far the most powerful thing I’ve ever done as a woman… my little miracles! #InternationalWomensDay,” she captioned the post.
The first photo captured the Diamonds singer after RZA’s birth, adorned with a gold necklace and pearls, while the second showed her wearing pink sunglasses in the delivery room following Riot Rose’s arrival.
“And yes, I gave birth in pearls and sunglasses… don’t ask, a lot was happening,” she playfully added.

Rihanna shares her two sons with longtime partner A$AP Rocky, whom she has been with since 2020. The couple first introduced their growing family to the world in a stunning British Vogue cover shoot after RZA’s birth, where the singer described motherhood as “legendary.”
“It’s everything. You really don’t remember life before—that’s the craziest thing ever,” Rihanna shared in the interview. “You literally try to remember it… but the feeling, the desires, the things you enjoy, everything changes. It doesn’t matter anymore.”
Rihanna later made headlines by revealing her second pregnancy during her iconic 2023 Super Bowl halftime show. Riot Rose was born in August 2023, and sources close to the singer told PEOPLE that she felt her family was now “complete.”
“She loves being a mom, so this is where her mind is at the moment,” the source explained.
A$AP Rocky as a Father
While Rihanna embraces her role as a mother, she has also openly praised A$AP Rocky as a dedicated and loving father. In a February interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she called watching him as a dad “the greatest thing.”
However, she also jokingly admitted that her kids seem to adore their dad just a little too much.
“I’m annoyed because my sons sometimes just live for [their dad] more than they live for me,” she said with a laugh. “And I’m like, ‘Did you know who cooked you? Do you know who pushed you out?’”
Despite the playful rivalry, Rihanna cherishes every moment of parenthood, calling it the most powerful experience of her life.
